Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Electrical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment for our client in Ottawa, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in panel wiring, inverter testing, electrical assembly, control panels, power distribution systems, and electronics manufacturing.
You will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and inspecting electrical products while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour + shift premium
  • Location: Ottawa, ON
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | Evening and Night shifts available
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical components and products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Wire and test control panels, power panels, and inverter systems.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and use pneumatic and hand tools safely.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Support inventory control, cycle counts, and production documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate production, quality, or technical issues as required.
  • Apply engineering changes (ECOs) and follow manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, inverter testing, or electronics manufacturing.
  • Nationally recognized certification in electrical, electronics, panel wiring, or a related field.
  • IPC 620 certification required or considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Experience wiring both control and power panels.
  • Knowledge of cable selection, routing, termination, crimping, and soldering techniques.
  • Ability to identify, separate, and terminate control and power wiring.
  • Experience performing product testing and in-process inspections.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and manufacturing software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
