Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager / Engagement Lead to oversee the delivery of a high-impact consulting engagement focused on the redesign of Child and Youth Care Programs. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage client relationships, drive project execution, and deliver evidence-based recommendations within a compressed timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and department leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships within a complex, multi-stakeholder public-sector environment
- Provide strategic guidance and ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations
- Present insights, recommendations, and deliverables to executive audiences
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project planning and execution in alignment with defined timelines and scope
- Oversee development of key deliverables, including:
- Project Charter
- Engagement Plan
- Status Reports (bi-weekly/monthly)
- Current-State Analysis
- Jurisdictional Research
- Future-State Design and Impact Analysis
- Ensure proactive tracking of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications
Strategic Analysis & Advisory
- Conduct current-state assessments of child and youth care systems
- Lead jurisdictional scans and benchmarking of best practices
- Develop future-state models, including service delivery frameworks and care continuum design
- Perform impact analysis covering operational, financial, and service implications
- Translate complex analysis into actionable, decision-ready recommendations
Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder consultations
- Drive collaboration across internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders
- Ensure inclusive and effective engagement strategies

Core Experience
- Proven experience in public-sector consulting, strategy, or service design
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Child and family services, social services, or human services transformation
- System redesign or service network design
- Strong track record in:
- Current-state assessments
- Jurisdictional research and benchmarking
- Options analysis and future-state recommendations
Project & Account Management
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong project management skills including:
- Work planning
- Risk and issue management
- Status reporting
- Ability to manage fixed-price engagements with defined timelines and deliverables
- Proven ability to deliver projects within strict deadlines
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
