Job status : 18 month temporary Part-time 0.5 FTE (37.5 hours bi-weekly)
Start : April 2026
Compensation : $57,634 - $63,274 (pro-rated to 0.5 FTE annually)

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Annual Giving Programs, the focus of the Development Coordinator, Annual Giving & Gaming, is to support the execution and evaluation of annual giving campaigns, with a focus on supporting the growth, development, and execution of the raffle program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates prize packages for the prize raffle program.
Collaborates with Comms team to develop prize package marketing strategies, including titles, descriptions, and imagery.
Researches potential prizes and prize sources.
Solicits prize donations, executes prize purchases, and manages relationships with prize donors and vendors.
Develops prize donor recognition and stewardship plans.
Coordinates with other teams, including Events and Major Gifts, to clear prize donation prospects and execute combined prize donation solicitations.
Monitors raffles from other organizations and builds file of prize ideas and raffle campaign best practices.
Leads ticket purchaser support on the raffle ticket purchase sales line and raffle support email box.
Supports the Development Officer, Online Giving & Outreach, in collecting, organizing, and analyzing raffle ticket purchaser data and importing purchaser records into CRM.
Assists with collecting, analyzing, and reporting on raffle campaign results.
Supports development and execution of strategy for engaging existing and repeat raffle purchasers and converting into donors, with a focus on monthly donor conversion.
Coordinates the notification of prize winners and pickup / delivery of prizes.
Assumes other related responsibilities and support the Annual Giving team in general, as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. marketing, communications, fundraising), plus a minimum of 3 years related experience in fundraising or other revenue generating activities. An equivalent combination of related education and experience will be considered. Experience with the development of annual giving plans and budgets is preferred. Knowledge of fundraising systems, structures and procedures. A clear understanding of fundraising and marketing strategies to recruit and retain donors. Proven success in annual campaigns, fundraising events, direct mail, planned giving, or major gifts is an asset.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to compose clear, concise and compelling correspondence and reports.
Experience communicating with a diverse audience through multiple channels.
Donor-centered approach to campaigns, solicitations, and recognition and stewardship.
Ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external interactions.
Knowledge of marketing regulations, privacy regulations, and charity gaming regulations, as well as emerging trends.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Fundraising database experience is an asset.
