Job description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR

Burly Boyz Moving

Vancouver, BC• Full-Time • Reports to Marketing Manager

---

Business development here is different from most roles — we're acquiring affiliate partners in real estate and related home sale industries to refer and recommend our company to their clients.

Since our inception in 2009, Burly Boyz Moving and Storage has successfully redefined the moving industry by providing a fresh approach to customer service and quality workmanship.

Our Mission: To be the greatest moving and storage company in Canada by delivering an unforgettable customer experience from beginning to end. To support our Mission and our expansion, we are looking for professional, respectful, personable, and honest, people-oriented individuals to join our team! If you're a relationship-first operator who'd rather nurture a portfolio than chase a hard-close quota — and you know how to keep a Salesforce pipeline clean without being told — this is your seat.

---

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

You own Burly Boyz's affiliate and partnership program end-to-end. That means personally managing the existing partners we already have, recovering the dormant ones, and building a new pipeline of real estate brokerages, mortgage brokers, home stagers, RMCs, and corporate HR contacts — with every conversation tracked in Salesforce and every lead tagged for attribution.

---

RESPONSIBILITIES

New Partnership Prospecting (45%) — Identify and engage real estate brokerages, mortgage brokers, home stagers, RMCs, and corporate HR/mobility contacts across BBM's service markets. Run partnership meetings end-to-end — discovery, fit, agreement, and onboarding.

Affiliate Program Ownership (35%) — Personally manage existing partners and our affiliate management software. Schedule regular touchpoints, capture feedback, resolve issues, and drive referral activity. Re-engage dormant accounts.

Pipeline & CRM Management (20%) — Maintain accurate stage tracking, contact records, and activity logs in Salesforce. Ensure every partner-sourced lead is tagged for UTM attribution. Hand off qualified leads to BBM sales with full context.

---

WHO FITS THIS ROLE

- 4+ years in real estate, business development, partnerships, account management, or outside B2B sales — with a documented track record of building and managing a partner or client portfolio

- Proven experience qualifying, structuring, and closing referral or channel partnerships (real estate, RMC, corporate mobility, or comparable B2B context)

- Hands-on Salesforce proficiency — you keep your pipeline clean without supervision

- Self-directed; can structure your own week, prioritize accounts, and work without daily oversight

- Comfortable with regular outbound contact — calls, email, LinkedIn, in-person meetings

- Strong written and verbal English; able to represent BBM credibly to corporate HR, procurement, and broker leadership

- Class 5 driver's licence and willingness to travel approximately 5–7 days per month

- Based in Greater Vancouver

- Legally authorized to work in Canada

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 90 Days

- Acquired a plethora of new partners and affiliates across real estate and other industries.

- Nurture existing affiliates

- Working pipeline of new partnership prospects across Vancouver-area brokerages, RMCs, and corporate HR contacts — with documented stage tracking in Salesforce

- Measurable partner-attributed lead flow established and tracked through UTM and Salesforce Opportunity sourcing

By 6 Months

- Begin to establish affiliates and partnerships in Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto

- Documented partnership pipeline with signed referral agreements from new partners

- Monthly volume of partner-attributed leads the sales team can quote and close

- Measurable increase in non-paid lead volume in the Vancouver market

---

WHY JOIN THIS TEAM

- Direct line to the Marketing Manager and full visibility into how your work converts to revenue

- Real Salesforce attribution and dashboards — you'll see exactly which partners, leads, and deals you sourced

- Proudly Canadian-owned, headquartered in Edmonton, expanding nationally with operations in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto

- Marketing and operational support behind you — you focus on partnerships, the company handles the rest

- Travel that builds relationships, not road-warrior burnout (5–7 days/month)

- Clear growth path into Partnerships Manager as BBM's national footprint expands

---

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$55,000 CAD base salary + $6,250 anticipated commissions on booked moves from BBM affiliates

Annual KPI bonus tied to qualified meetings, signed agreements, and partner-sourced leads. Specific structure confirmed at offer stage.

Additional benefits and perks:

- Paid time off

- Full benefits (health, dental, vision) after probation

- Mileage and vehicle allowance for partner travel

- Company events and growth path into senior partnerships or marketing leadership

TOOLS YOU'LL USE

Salesforce (primary CRM) • Snoball (affiliate management) • Jobber (operational handoff) • LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Apollo • Dialpad • Google Workspace
