As our Service Coordinator, you are responsible for responding to the daily needs of our customers, pro-actively organizing and scheduling work for our field service technicians, driving profitable service revenue, and building strong relationships with our customers based in the Greater Vancouver, BC Lower Mainland, region.

Schedule daily/weekly/monthly workload for field service technicians.
Making proactive phone calls to schedule service work.
Selling and promoting parts and services.
Promptly responding to incoming customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and face-to face.
Basic troubleshooting to determine customer needs and provide effective solutions.
Coordinating the day-to-day work of self and others.
Parts identification using manuals, business systems and software, and other online resources.
Organizing service parts required for scheduled work.
Utilizing computer software and business systems to schedule work and create service work orders.
Creating repair estimates for customers and providing necessary follow-up.
Processing transactions daily in a manner that reflects the company’s commitment to excellence.
Reviewing service work orders and time sheets for accuracy prior to billing.
Collaborating with service team and other internal departments to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
Assisting with office related tasks such as assisting walk-in customers and vendors, ordering office supplies.
Assisting with the organization and cleanliness of the service shop/warehouse area.
Qualifications
We are looking for persistent, hard-working people, who are self-motivated to achieve sales results.
High school diploma mandatory. Post-secondary diploma, or certificate is preferred.
Previous experience with service coordination/service dispatching is preferred.
Ability to develop and maintain harmonious relationships with a wide variety of people, and work as part of a cohesive team.
Attentive listening skills combined with professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
Strong technical writing skills, with experience preparing technical sales quotations/proposals.
Customer focus with the ability to articulate and define value for the customer.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a fast paced, frequently changing, high-volume environment, while providing consistent high-quality work.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Strong sense of duty and responsibility. High level of integrity and ethical values.
Comprehension of all technical information, equipment manuals, parts manuals, and maintenance schedules.
Tech savvy with proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and associated business software. Understanding of basic accounting procedures.
Accuracy and attention to detail in handling frequent paperwork and documentation processes.
Ability to work at a computer station while sitting at desk for extended periods of time daily.
