We are looking for drivencandidates currently enrolled in post-secondary educationto work as a Summer Crewing Coordinator who want a value-added experience in plant operations at our food manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

Compensation: $19/hr

This position will require full-time availability May through September and you can be assigned to a variety of shifts (including weekends) between the hours of 7am-11pm, as well as overnight shifts 11pm-7am.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the crewing of multiple production lines and classification to ensure the manufacturing department is able to operate effectively and efficiently
  • Track and report attendance of frontline employee population
  • Utilize Kronos Time Management system to ensure Team Members are paid correctly and charged to the correct cost center
  • Attend and lead various crewing related meetings

Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in a post secondary education program in Canada
  • Available to work up to and including Labour Day weekend
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible –Willingness to work all shifts including afternoons, nights, weekends, and weekend nights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with various personalities
  • Great attention to detail
