  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to permitting.
  • Identify potential issues that could delay work and propose/implement mitigation measures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and regulatory agencies.
  • Act as a key interface between field teams and management, ensuring work is authorized, coordinated, and safely executed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all permit applications, approvals, and related correspondence.

Your skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in supervisory or superintendent roles.
  • Strong, hands‑on expertise in work permit systems and solid functional knowledge of HSE requirements.
  • Experience managing permits on complex and high‑risk projects, ideally involving tunneling, major construction, confined spaces, or subaqueous environments.
  • Proficiency with digitalized health & safety tracking systems, ensuring accurate documentation and digitalized monitoring .
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (subcontractors, construction, and client).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and rigorous
