Overview

As a Redmond & Associates Assistant Warehouse Manager , you will be in the forefront of our day-to-day operations by playing an important supportive role for our warehouse manager. You will develop a wide range of skills as you aid in warehouse upkeep, storage inventories, tool crib surveillance, as well as machinery moving – the core service of our company! This position does not require a degree, but forklift experience is necessary. So is experience with a wide variety of hand / power tools. If you are the kind of person who enjoys learning new things, likes working with his hands, and needs to always to be doing something, you can build a great career with us as you learn and develop new skills.

What will you do?

• Load, unload and move industrial machines (ie. CNC Mills, Lathes, etc.), forklifts and other company equipment onto trailers within our warehouse.
• Assist Drivers to load and unload machines / equipment with the use of high-capacity forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Assisting our drivers in tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Track incoming and outcoming machines for storage, using our asset tracking software.
• Oversee the tool crib, the sign-out process and perform small tool repairs, as needed.
• Shunt tractor-trailers around, as needed (if able).
