As a Total Rewards Lead serving clients of Deloitte, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the operational delivery of Compensation, Benefits (Canada and US), and Global Mobility services. You will provide leadership to specialized operational teams, ensure the consistent and accurate execution of Total Rewards processes, and serve as a key liaison between HR Global Shared Operations (HR GSO) and the client.

You will also play a key role in supporting process transitions, operational readiness, service stabilization, governance, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will your typical day look like?

You will lead the operational delivery of Compensation, Benefits, and Global Mobility services within the HR GSO model, ensuring requests, transactions, recurring activities, and escalations are completed accurately and within established service expectations. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to Compensation, Benefits, and Global Mobility specialists, including team members working virtually and from offshore locations, while serving as the primary operational point of contact for key internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day service delivery and operational activities across Compensation, Benefits, and Global Mobility.
  • Providing operational guidance on complex or sensitive Total Rewards matters and escalating policy decisions, exceptions, and significant risks as appropriate.
  • Monitoring workloads, case volumes, service levels, recurring activities, risks, and operational metrics, and preparing reports and insights for HR leadership and governance forums.
  • Coaching and developing team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and service excellence.
  • Supporting knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and the transition of new Compensation, Benefits, and Global Mobility processes into HR GSO.

And we do it with the kind of drive and passion that comes from loving what you do—and who you do it with.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has these skills, experience & qualifications:

  • Full professional proficiency in both English and French is required, both written and spoken.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience leading specialized HR operations or shared services teams and managing complex, high-volume, or multi-country service delivery.
  • Experience managing offshore resources, virtual teams, or services delivered across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs and processes such as market surveys, job evaluation, salary structures, annual compensation cycles, compensation recommendations, or related HR transactions.
  • Experience supporting benefits administration, vendor relationships, enrollment activities, reconciliations, employee inquiries, or benefits-related operational processes.

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee, compensation, benefits, immigration, financial, and personal information.
  • A commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and upholding a positive employer brand.

It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:
