Skills Required :

Strong working experience as DB developer with Oracle, PL / SQL, Unix scripting.
Good coding knowledge and strong understanding of Relational DB models and ability to design tables, functions, procedures based on project requirements.
Ability to optimize and create high performing DB stored procedures, package collections according to business needs.
Hands-on experience in working with scripting languages such as Unix or Python and job scheduling software such as ESP, Control-M.
Experience analyzing business needs and existing applications with complex DB structures and programs and providing solutions, designs to meet new requirements.
Work closely with front-end developers, service developers to integrate DB components to web modules.
Strong performance tuning skills to ensure high performance, coding standards maintained.
Strong knowledge of Wealth domain and trading platforms will be an added advantage.

Desired Skill Set :

Experience in working with Agile environment.

Good problem-solving & analytical skills and communication skills.

Flexible to work in after hours to interact with offshore team and triage production issues and support production deployments.

Ability to handle pressure during critical production issues.
