We are currently seeking a Microsoft Senior Database Developer- DBA- Remote to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Senior Database Developer

The primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data management and retrieval. Also will need to troubleshoot and support production issues, analyze and fix Job failures and give permanent fix when possible

Responsibilities :

Developing, implementing, and optimizing SQL queries
Collaborating with software developers to integrate database solutions into applications
Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
Performing database performance tuning and optimization
Generating and analyzing reports from SQL databases
Trouble shoot and fix SQL jobs and SSIS packages

Preferred SQL developer requirements, qualifications & skills :

Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles

Strong SSIS development experience

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Azure experience (preferred)

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 8 years Data and Intelligence-ETL-Microsoft experience

Minimum 8 years Application Management-Development-SQL Server-SQL, T-SQL, SSIS experience
