Job DescriptionRole Description:
· Administer, monitor, maintain, and support Cassandra DB, Cosmos DB, and other NoSQL database platforms.
· Manage database performance, tuning, backup, recovery, replication, and high availability configurations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues across production and non-production environments.
· Support large-scale, mission-critical enterprise applications and infrastructure environments.
· Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and capacity planning activities.
· Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure seamless database operations.
· Participate in incident management, problem management, change management, and root cause analysis activities in alignment with ITIL processes.
· Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
· Ensure database security, compliance, and operational best practices are followed.
Essential Skills:
· Strong hands-on experience with Cassandra DB, Cosmos DB, and NoSQL databases.
· Experience supporting complex enterprise environments with high availability requirements.
· Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, replication, clustering, and disaster recovery concepts.
· Good understanding of cloud and distributed database architectures.
· Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.
· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Exposure to scripting or automation tools is an added advantage.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
