Job Description : Department Overview
The Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) group at TD Bank Group (TDBG) is accountable for establishing Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) program to ensure that all TDBG businesses remain compliant with AML / ATF regulatory expectations in all jurisdictions where TDBG operates. This includes setting consistent standards across business segments that may be further tailored to specific business or jurisdictional requirements conducting annual enterprise-wide AML risk assessments maintaining the Global AML Policy (including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence on High-Risk Customers); currency transaction and suspicious transaction monitoring and reporting; screening TDBG customers against regulatory watch lists; a hierarchy of designated AML officer functions; enterprise-wide and specialized AML training of employees and independent AML testing.
Job Description
We are looking for a Manager Data Management to join the Data Strategy and Management team to develop and maintain FCRM data management standards and procedures and ensure alignment with Enterprise Data Management Office EDMOs standards.
In this role you will :
- Design develop implement and maintain data management processes and controls (e.g. data lineage data supply chain data quality controls metadata reference data data retention and disposition etc.) for critical and business data elements.
- Gather input from stakeholders within FCRM Data as a Service (DaaS) and technology regarding AML applications and update EDMOs template.
- Execute ongoing data management processes and controls to monitor detect and report data risk state and escalate issues to AML Capability owners for prioritization and resolution.
- Design and implement metrics and dashboards to enable reporting of data quality controls.
- Lead day-to-day execution of the Data Issue Management process with stakeholders in FCRM DaaS Technology and Lines of Business ensuring appropriate priority is assigned to data issues and high priority data issues are investigated and resolved within the defined SLAs.
- Support remediation of regulatory findings and audit issues through follow-ups with accountable priorities and documenting all details.
- Escalate risks and issues impacting timely resolution of high priority data issues to in a timely manner propose risk mitigation and issue remediation plans; and execute risk mitigation and issue remediation activities to return status of high priority data issues to green.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various AML platforms; and data elements critical to AML capabilities.
- Keep current on emerging ML / TF trends and regulatory requirement changes as well as the Banks data management standards.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
