We are seeking a Configuration Management Supervisor responsible for maintaining accurate product configurations, managing engineering changes, and ensuring full traceability for high power amplifiers and generator systems. In addition, this role provides supervisory oversight, including coordinating daily team activities, setting priorities, monitoring performance, and supporting the development of team members to ensure high-quality, consistent execution of configuration processes.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR/TO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain configuration and data management policies and best practices.
- Maintain product configurations and multi-level BOMs, supporting manufacturing and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage ECR, ECO, and ECN processes with full traceability.
- Ensure revision control of drawings and technical documentation.
- Analyze proposed product design changes to assess impact on overall product and system.
- Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Create and deliver training materials for configuration management processes.
- Provide direction and delegate work to direct reports, including performance management involvement.
CM Principles Applied:
- Requirements drive design.
- Documentation defines the product.
- Changes are controlled and fully traceable.
- All stakeholders work from a single source of truth.
- Verification ensures alignment between requirements and product.
- Closed-loop change processes ensure effectiveness.
- Status accounting provides real-time configuration visibility.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- – years in Configuration Management, Product Data Management, or Change Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading or supervising team members in a structured, cross-functional environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLM/ERP systems (preferred: JDE).
- Experience in power electronics or RF systems preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (FDA, EU MDR, etc.) from a configuration/documentation support perspective is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management principles, including baseline control, change management, and traceability.
- Knowledge of BOMs, revision control, and change management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (BOMs, assembly drawings, schematics).
- Solid understanding of document control and data governance practices.
- Strong analytical skills to assess change impacts and identify risks.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Must meet all CGP & ITAR requirements.
