Incident Management Project Manager

Location: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid\)
Duration: 6-Month Contract

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Incident Management Project Manager to support one of British Columbia's largest utility providers. This role is ideal for a project management professional who excels at coordination, reporting, stakeholder communication, and process administration within a fast-paced operational environment.

You'll play a key role in supporting the Incident Management Team by coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, tracking deliverables, and ensuring incident management and investigation activities are completed efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and administrative support to the Incident Management Team.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project deliverables, action items, and timelines to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and file management systems.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and project status updates using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Support incident management and investigation processes through effective coordination and reporting.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Assist with records management and ensure documentation complies with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business process improvements and project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with records management, file management, or document control.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams).
  • SharePoint Online experience.
  • Records management or file management knowledge or certification.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation.
  • Major Case Management training or certification.
  • JIBC Investigations and Enforcement Skills Certificate.
  • CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) or CRST (Canadian Registered Safety Technologist).
  • Experience supporting incident management, investigations, or operational governance processes.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work arrangement based out of the office in Burnaby, with approximately two days per week onsite.
  • Preference for candidates who can regularly collaborate in person with the project team.
  • Opportunity to support critical incident management processes while working closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
