Job Description :

Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Mission, BC, recognized as a leader within its product category. The organization operates in a fast-paced, innovative environment led by a highly passionate and entrepreneurial owner who is deeply invested in the company’s success.

With an expanding footprint across Canada, the United States, and Australia, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and operational scale. This is an excellent opportunity for a Controller who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys building processes within a high-performing organization.

This role is fully in-office (5 days per week), supporting a collaborative culture and strong cross-functional partnership across the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will lead and mentor a mid-size accounting team while overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of all accounting functions, allowing the CFO to remain focused on strategic priorities and long-term business initiatives.

The Controller will be a hands-on leader responsible for elevating the team through strong coaching, performance management, and professional development. The ideal candidate brings a collaborative leadership style, builds trust quickly, and is passionate about developing talent while fostering a high-performing, accountable culture.

In addition to operational oversight, the Controller will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across processes and systems. This includes supporting business-critical projects, participating in system upgrades and implementations, and identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, reporting, and internal controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader who enjoys combining people leadership with process transformation in a growing organization.
