About The Role

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Engineering Manager to join our team in the Vancouver office.

  • Manage and oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing engineering projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign‑off of the project’s engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Be responsible for the performance of the design team regarding schedule, budget, and resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment, proven leadership experience; experience in Gold, Rare Earths, or Nickel is advantageous.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, focusing on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, emphasizing planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
