Paralegal – Class Actions

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client interviews as part of the claims administration process.
Prepare and draft claims based on information gathered from clients.
Serve as a primary contact for clients and obtain documentation and details relevant to their claims.
Oversee the progression of files, including collecting supporting records and assisting with settlement administration.
Maintain accurate records and ensure files are managed efficiently throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

Paralegal Diploma or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Excellent organizational and file management abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, internet-based tools, and case management software.
Advanced database management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with limited structure.
Self-directed and capable of exercising sound judgment and making recommendations when appropriate.
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Composed and professional approach when working through challenging situations.
