Requirements :
- Must be able to travel to the Waterloo Region
- Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate and take direction
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
- Ability to recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards
Responsibilities :
- All functions of sewer crew, mainline, laterals, working in congested areas, dirt moving
- Interprets information on grade stakes
- Coordination with crew and management
- Inspects and maintains the equipment
- Performs other tasks as needed
- Complies with the Company Safety Program
- Organization of project details locates, and performance objectives
- Communication of any discrepancy
- Ability to plan ahead
- Cognitively aware of job tasks and planning
Schedule :
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Ability to work 10-14hours a day
Work Location : Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario
