Job description
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience in order processing, order entry, inventory management, pricing, sales support, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will communicate with customers by phone and email, process customer orders, respond to product and pricing inquiries, check inventory, coordinate product availability, and work closely with our sales, supply chain, warehouse, and distribution teams. This is a fast-paced position requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Process and enter customer orders using web-based applications and BPCS/AS400 systems
  • Provide professional and timely customer service by phone and email
  • Respond to product, inventory, pricing, availability, and order status inquiries
  • Perform stock checks and coordinate product availability
  • Expedite and source products to meet customer requirements
  • Monitor and follow up on customer orders and deliveries
  • Support the outside sales team with customer requests and order-related activities
  • Work closely with supply chain, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and distribution partners
  • Resolve customer issues and provide effective problem resolution
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Enter customer and order information accurately while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Prioritize multiple customer requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of customer service, customer care, order management, or inside sales support experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with order entry, order processing, inventory, pricing, or product inquiries
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities
  • High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and business integrity
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with ERP, AS400, BPCS, or order management systems is an asset
  • College diploma or university degree preferred
