A diversity of treatment options are offered, including community live-in intensive treatment, virtual intensive treatment, and outpatient continuing care and family programs. Due to the impact of addiction on families, specialized programs and support are offered for loved ones and family members, including children.

About the position:You are passionate about leading teams and helping people with complex addiction and mental health challenges stabilize and build recovery. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Manager of Sullivan Treatment Centre leads and oversees an intensive live-in addiction treatment program for men. • Provide structured, individual clinical supervision to the counselling team.
  • Foster respectful, inclusive team environment, modelling transparent team dynamics and non-confrontational and objective conflict resolution.
  • Initiate and guide team, program and professional development activities.
  • Oversee the collection, validation and reporting of program metrics to support Quality Improvement and research initiatives.
  • Manage, supervise and monitor workload of cooks and kitchen functions.
  • Ensure client care, program delivery, record keeping and consultative activities are carried out in accordance with Renascent program guidelines.
  • Interact with other areas of the organization with respect to policy development and adherence, fundraising, promotional activities, and managing third party reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Programs, other Program Managers and Client Care Access and Engagement Team to ensure consistent, effective and equitable program delivery and client care across the organization.
  • Manage all administrative activities within the Centre, including liaising with external vendors and maintenance workers.
  • Be accountable for the budgetary spending of all activities within the Centre.
  • Continually promote the positive image of Renascent with clients, volunteers, family members, donors and the community.
  • Provide on-call support as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Registration or certification in good standing with a relevant college/association for mental health, addictions, social work or social service.
  • Degree or Diploma in Addictions, Psychology, Social Work or a related field of study; Master’s level is preferred.
  • Eight or more years of experience providing direct client care in addictions, mental health or social service setting is preferred.
  • Four or more years of people management experience in clinical team settings is preferred.
  • Experience in managing a treatment centre or responsibility for managing a program or department.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong problem solving and dispute resolution skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage a wide variety of issues on a daily basis.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Extensive knowledge, understanding and experience with addiction.
