What you’ll do:
The successful candidate will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently and become a member of a highly motivated team. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service on the radio to team members and to our customers in the yard, assisting them with the location of items and providing information and product knowledge.
- Deliver, load and unload merchandise, as well as assemble and deliver orders as required.
- Fill orders and receive freight as required.
- Assist in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
- Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and:
- You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- You have the ability to operate heavy duty equipment while ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed.
- You have experience and knowledge in the building materials industry.
- Have the ability to work in a changing environment.
- You have a valid class 5 driver’s license, a clean abstract will be required and you must be willing to obtain forklift certification.
- You can fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour and occasional heavy lifting is required.
- You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
