Stuart Olson is adding to their team and is searching for a Journeyperson HVAC / Refrigeration Technician to join us for a new opportunity at our client site in Joffre Alberta.

As a Refrigeration / HVAC Technician with Stuart Olson you will have a stable income with a limited call out schedule!

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Supervisor, the Stuart Olson HVAC Technician will be responsible for :
• Preventative maintenance and building checks on RTU, AHU, MUA, Unit heaters and exhaust fans.
• Respond to and perform emergency and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and components.
• Furnace and air conditioner changeouts.
• Ensure building standards are maintained.
• Advanced controls; electric, pneumatic, DDS.
• Compressor and heat pump changeouts.
• Advanced Boiler Operations.
• Other duties as requested by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Canadian Certified Journeyman (Refrigeration or Equivalent)
• Alberta Gasfitter A or B Ticket is a strong asset.
• Ability to understand process of the facility and work with operations on an as needed basis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Well organized with good time management skills.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test.

Working Conditions

• Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
• Working at heights, in and around noise and dust
