Responsibilities
- Ability to identify, search and fill parts orders as it relates to Heavy Duty trucks
- Greet customers promptly
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage, and vehicle history
- Prepare complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently
- Verify that final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order
- Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations
- Oversee mechanics working on vehicles, including their time management / efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times
- Oversee and participate in quality control
- Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the service industry
- Knowledge of repair SRT for heavy trucking industry
- Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
- Above-average energy level
- A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
- Strong communication and customer relations skills
- General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
- CDK software knowledge an asset
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software programs
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
