Our Opportunity :
Reporting to the Manager, People Business Partner, this position is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and executing assigned activities in the area of recruitment, employee relations and employee programs for the Debert Distribution Centre.
This position will provide support to Distribution Management and employees as required.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct internal investigations as required
- Coordinate the onboarding and orientation for new employees
- Responsible for communicating company initiatives to all employees
- Assist the supervisors with the return-to-work process
- Provide guidance and assistance with the attendance management process
- Communicate and provide support to employees with regards the benefit and total rewards programs
- Assist all departments with performance management
Required Skills :
- 1-3 years HR Generalist working experience with a heavy focus on recruitment is required
- Previous experience with recruitment and employee relations for a Distribution or Manufacturing group
- Strong understanding of employment standards across Canada
- Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs
- University degree and / or college diploma in Business / Human Resources
- Strong communication, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
