We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Time Schedule Coordinator. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West, NL requiring candidates to work a Monday-Friday 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm schedule.
Purpose of the Role :
This is a Provide support to the Mine site on the day-to-day administrative tasks related to workforce planning and scheduling and contributing to continuous improvements initiatives.
Job Responsibilities :
Responsibilities consist of but not limited to :
- Ensuring sufficient workforce planning resources are available for operations and maintenance crews.
- Managing employee vacation leaves (tracking / monitoring crew members vacation prior to sending to leaders for approval).
- Coordinating unplanned overtime prior to shift commencement.
- Organizing floaters / backups whenever required as per leaders’ request.
- Tracking of overtime and reporting to leaders.
- Updating tracking resource applications.
- Other administrative tasks as per leaders’ request.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Experience in workforce planning coordination, forecasting and administration.
- Previous mine-site administration experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work within a team environment with demonstrated communication skills, sharing information, and seeking input to complete assigned work.
- Self-directed and self-motivated, showing initiative to do more than is expected or required in the position.
- Strong problem-solving / troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to establish strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Proven time management and coordination skills.
- High level of competency in Microsoft office applications.
- Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Education :
Relevant university degree or related fields preferred.
License :
Driver's License (Required)
