Your place in our story

The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service to homeowners in order to process all inquiries related to service, repairs or outstanding work.

Here’s how you’ll contribute

  • Check Tarion portal daily to identify and print any new conciliations, 30 days, year ends or two year inspections;
  • Review any emergency calls from the previous night or weekend and follow up with homeowner and/or trades;
  • Coordinates repair appointments;
  • Responsible for processing all relevant paperwork;
  • Print the “scheduled today” list on a daily basis and contact all Trades to ensure successful workdays;
  • Reschedule any additional follow-up appointments that are necessary;
  • Process invoices;
  • Manage vendor cards and the check in check out process;
  • Respond to all inquiries from Homeowners and trade partners;
  • Responds and assists with resolving all after sales complaints;
  • Tracks and closely monitors all active files and ensure they are completed within the set deadlines as indicated by the Tarion Warranty Corporation;
  • Provides updates and corresponds with the Tarion Warranty Corporation in regards to files that have been escalated with their office;
  • Coordinate all repairs in model homes where necessary;
  • Order materials as instructed by Managers;
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

What you bring to the team

  • High School Diploma is required or a College Diploma (Construction, Home Building, Administration or related discipline) is an asset.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in a customer service role.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook
  • Tarion Warranty Corporation Construction Performance Guidelines and Warranty Coverage is an asset
  • Knowledge of construction processes and repair methods is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the Minto New Home Manual is an asset
  • Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)

Hiring pay range:$55,000-$63,000 a year

Pay ranges at Minto are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse industries, and lines of business.
