Englobe Calgary, Alberta office, is pleased to offer a co‑operative opportunity to ambitious Civil Engineering / Technology Students.

Reporting to the Materials Team Lead you will spend your 8‑month co‑op program, May – December (or 2 consecutive 4‑month terms) assisting our team in the field.

Your main responsibilities

• Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
• Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
• Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
• Concrete testing; casting cylinders and performing slump and air measurements
• Asphalt testing; Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and onsite sampling
• Preparing daily test summary reports
• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
