  • Manage and automate workloads in cloud environments, utilizing AWS cloud technologies and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Implement and maintain security, identity, and access management solutions, including AWS IAM and Azure SSO.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents across all environments, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
  • Oversee and support multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain Azure / AWS systems to meet operational and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for design strategies that leverage emerging technologies, frameworks, and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including CI / CD and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) implementations.
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on new technologies and standards to support procurement and development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation to ensure clear communication of technical solutions and processes.
  • What you bring :

  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Post‑Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
  • 7+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of system administration in Windows / Linux environments.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in AWS systems administration or engineering.
  • Expertise in Windows System Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure technologies, such as VMware, Cisco UCS, NetApp, and networking / security best practices.
  • Technical experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) and Azure / O365 platform services (e.g., Conditional Access, Identity Services).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with tools like PowerShell and Python.
  • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Bonus Skills : Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
  • Internal Applicants : Please note that the internal posting closes on 29 December 2025, and the role is a Grade 14 position.

The salary range for this position is $100,306.20 to $125,382.84 and is determined via job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on‑site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley region will not be considered.

    What we offer :

  • Career and personal development to help you grow and reach your goals.
  • Incentives that recognize team and individual sales and performance.
