Role description :

A Software Developer is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications that drive our products forward. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business requirements and user needs.

Role accountabilities :

• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and designers to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and services to support business processes.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of features and fixes while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Collaborate with QA teams to conduct system testing and resolve issues before release.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and development processes.

The salary range for this position is 66,000-82,000 CAD. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
