The Test Manager will be responsible for supporting end‑to‑end testing approaches, working with a multi‑disciplinary testing team, coordinating vendors and client stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of a high‑quality, compliant solution.

  • Support best practice testing standards, methodologies, and entry/exit criteria across all test phases
  • Identify testing risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

  • Work with a team of test analysts, automation specialists, and domain experts
  • Be cognizant of testing activities across multiple project workstreams and vendor teams
  • Participate in test case management, defect tracking, triage, and resolution processes
  • Chair UAT defect review meetings with the client and provide regular test status and quality reporting
  • Monitor UAT progress and quality metrics, adjusting approach as required

Pension‑Specific Testing Requirements

  • Understand what is required to perform accurate testing of pension calculations, eligibility rules, service credits, and benefit payments
  • Participate in testing member services, employer interfaces, payroll processing, and financial reconciliation functions

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client business teams
  • Facilitate testing workshops and requirements clarification sessions
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project governance bodies
  • Manage vendor testing activities and deliverables

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with 5+ years in test leadership or test management roles
  • Proven experience leading testing for large‑scale system implementations
  • Hands‑on experience with data migration testing in complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile and Waterfall)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pension administration systems or similar financial / benefits platforms
  • ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of actuarial concepts, financial calculations, or regulatory testing
  • Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments
