Advanced GIS & Cloud Stack: Gain hands-on exposure across ArcGIS Enterprise, VertiGIS, FME, Azure, and spatial web APIs.

Full SDLC Leadership: Author core architecture deliverables, design spatial data pipelines, and guide technical teams end-to-end.

Collaborative Onsite Environment: Partner directly with cross-functional engineering and project teams in a predictable 5-day onsite workspace.

Responsibilities
GIS Platform Modernization: Lead technical design and upgrade activities to transition legacy Geocortex applications to current VertiGIS platforms while maintaining core business functionality.

Geospatial Web Development: Design and build interactive GIS web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern framework SDKs.

Spatial Data Pipeline & Automation: Develop, test, and maintain automated spatial ETL processes, data models, and workflow scripts using FME, Python, and SQL databases.

GIS Enterprise Architecture Integration: Configure and manage enterprise GIS suites, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, File Geodatabases, and RESTful web services.

Full-Lifecycle Software Engineering: Lead technical aspects throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, architecture documentation, code compilation, and unit testing.

System Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical defects, support incident management, address application performance issues, and ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.

Technical Documentation & Governance: Author comprehensive technical deliverables including build books, installation guides, system specifications, and architectural documentation.

Team Guidance & Collaboration: Provide technical advice, guidance, and code review support to junior developers while collaborating with business analysts and project leads.

Qualifications
GIS Software Suite Mastery: Hands-on professional experience developing and maintaining applications using GIS software suites—specifically ArcGIS, VertiGIS/Geocortex, and/or FME (Strictly Required).

Service Architecture & APIs: Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and RESTful web services (REST, JSON, AJAX).

Technical Documentation & Communication: Superior skills in translating business requirements into technical specs, creating build books/guides, and explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Assets:
Experience deploying GIS solutions within cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
