McFarlane Insurance is a growing, community‑focused Desjardins Agency in Whitby. We’re looking for a confident Account Manager who is comfortable with outbound sales, enjoys lead generation, and thrives on being active in the community to grow business.
Licensing (OTL or LLQP) is preferred — but if you’re a strong, motivated salesperson ready to get licensed, we’ll fully support you through the process.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a proactive, outbound‑focused sales role with strong relationship‑building at its core.
You’ll:
- Make outbound calls to new and existing leads to identify sales opportunities
- Actively generate leads through referrals, networking, and community partnerships
- Build relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Confidently present and close tailored insurance solutions
- Maintain consistent follow‑up and pipeline activity
- Support clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims guidance
- Represent the agency professionally in the community and at local events
- Collaborate with the agent and team to drive overall business growth
This role rewards activity, initiative, and follow‑through.
Who We’re Looking For
