MAKING AN IMPACT

Seeking a Senior Manager to lead Salesforce architecture, ensure operational excellence, and drive AI innovation. You’ll manage standards, release processes, and a team of architects and engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Lead the architectural vision and strategy evolution of the Salesforce platform:

  • Own and develop the architectural roadmap for Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, custom apps).
  • Integrate AI technologies to optimize performance and automate processes.
  • Drive modernization, best practices, and platform scalability in a multi-cloud, multi-org environment.
  • Collaborate with the Director to align Salesforce strategy with business goals.
  • Improved fundraising efficiency through automation and data-driven insights.

Oversee daily operations, incident management, and platform reliability:

  • Manage incident response, performance tuning, environment management, and release operations.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability.
  • Support development and maintenance of solutions for fundraising and volunteer management.
  • Ensuring uninterrupted donation processing and volunteer engagement.

Guide release management, DevOps practices and compliance:

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and automation tools.
  • Provide architectural guidance for compliant, high-quality releases.
  • Manage environment strategy (sandboxes, dev/test/prod orgs), data refresh cycles, and deployments.
  • Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams for continuous improvement.
  • Faster delivery of new fundraising features and secure data handling.

Others:

  • Foster a high-performance culture that leverages the unique talents and strengths of each member while encouraging their growth and development.
  • Champion CCS as a hero in the face of cancer.
  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.
  • Other duties may apply

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, development, and operations across major Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing) and custom applications.
  • Advanced technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL.
  • Proven experience managing complex, integrated, high‑volume Salesforce environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring technical Salesforce team members (developers, architects, admins).
  • Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD (Copado, GitHub) and deployment automation.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and fixing issues in a release pipeline (must-have).
  • Experience integrating and leveraging AI technologies to optimize performance and automate processes.
  • Experience supporting release management, deployment strategies, and automation tooling.
  • Familiarity with environment management, including sandboxes, data refresh cycles, and multi‑org setups.
  • Experience defining and enforcing access controls, security standards, and platform governance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise senior leaders and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.
