Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the multi‑year product vision and success metrics for VOIE, aligned to business outcomes.
  • Build and manage a prioritized roadmap that balances customer value, regulatory constraints, data supply, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead market assessments for new verticals and channels.
  • Drive structured discovery with customers, developers, and partners to identify verification pain points.
  • Own the end‑to‑end user journey.
  • Establish and validate hypotheses via experiments, Voice of Customer, usability tests, and A/B tests; translate insights into clear product requirements.
  • Partner with technology and operations to source, normalize, and enrich payroll and HCM data; define data quality thresholds and SLAs.
  • Oversee API design, developer tools and overall developer experience.
  • Implement monitoring and analytics to track key metrics such as coverage, match rates, pass rates, fallbacks, and compliance requirements.
  • Define pricing and packaging strategies, including usage-based and bundled offerings.
  • Enable Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success with compelling value propositions, collateral, and pilot programs.
  • Define launch criteria, readiness plans, and rollout strategies across use cases and customer segments.
  • Produce clear product documentation (PRDs, user stories); support and drive a healthy backlog; manage scope and prioritization for predictable delivery.
  • Support cross‑functional teams through agile processes; align stakeholders and escalate blockers proactively.
  • Measure performance against KPIs; drive continuous improvement through data‑driven iteration.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of Product Management experience in VOIE (Verification of Income & Employment), credit reporting, financial services, building data, and/or compliance-heavy product.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping products that handle sensitive data with strong privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in experimentation, analytics, and metric design (conversion funnels, cohort analysis, A/B testing).
  • Deep experience operating within agile product methodologies and structured product development life cycles (PDLC).
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian credit ecosystem.
  • Strong technical acumen: APIs, data pipelines, identity resolution, monitoring/observability, and platform reliability.
  • Passion for utilizing data to solve critical business issues.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Curious and customer focused.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
  • Strong collaborator who excels at working effectively across matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
