The following teams are looking for Senior Software Engineers : Subscription Infrastructure – manages and improves the billing experience; Sign Up & Trial – guides small businesses through their initial journey with Jobber; Harbour Foundations – builds the internal foundation for an AI‑powered customer journey; Expansion – empowers users to make informed decisions that drive business success.

The role

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, the Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with other Software Development members on a Scrum team to build an industry‑leading product that helps our customers and their small businesses be successful. We’re looking for people who are ready to solve problems that millions of entrepreneurs are facing, using their experience to influence both a product and our team, all the while still working on developing their own craft.

In this role, you’ll be a champion of best practices for well‑tested, scalable, and well‑organized code, customize and extend tools and processes to increase team effectiveness, and mentor others to do the same.

Work location

Our product provides entrepreneurs the flexibility of working in their office or the field and we offer that same opportunity to our employees. You will have the choice to work in either our Edmonton or Toronto offices or remotely anywhere within Canada . Compensation

This role has a minimum annual salary of $125,800, a midpoint of $147,900, and a maximum salary of $170,100, designed to reflect the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind.
