We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work at our headquarters in Ottawa, ON.
What you will be doing…
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within Commissionaires Project Management Office. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating team efforts, and managing third-party contractors to deliver projects successfully. You will also define project objectives, oversee quality control, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle while aligning with organizational goals.
The types of projects you will be managing include business application implementations, process improvements, digital transformations and cloud systems.
Some of your responsibilities include…
- Developing comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinating and managing cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives
- Monitoring and adjusting project schedules to meet deadlines
- Managing project budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved limits
- Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and deliverables
- Identifying and mitigating potential project risks with effective strategies
- Conducting project closure activities, including final reports and lessons learned sessions
- Ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards and are formally accepted
- Preparing and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholders
- Leading workshops or brainstorming sessions to identify innovative solutions
- Researching and evaluating tools or methodologies to enhance project outcomes
