Job description
Are you a seasoned project leader ready to steer complex initiatives to success? Our Calgary client is seeking an IT Project Manager Senior for an initial 3-month contract. In this hybrid role, you will take ownership of large-scale technology projects, align cross-functional teams, and guide critical business outcomes.

Responsibilities
• Lead and direct the comprehensive planning and execution of large-scale technology initiatives.
• Negotiate scope, budget, and timeline adjustments directly with project owners and leadership.
• Apply comprehensive project management concepts and methodologies to manage operational risks.
• Guide, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional project team members throughout project lifecycles.
• Offer senior guidance and support to other project managers across the organization.
• Manage clear communication and status alignment across business stakeholders and management.
• Step in to coordinate overarching program streams when high-level governance is required.

Qualifications
• Extensive track record successfully managing complex, enterprise-scale IT projects.
• Strong background in scope management, budget tracking, and schedule negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to direct project teams and mentor junior project managers.
• Proven capability to manage changing priorities with high creativity and adaptability.
• Solid knowledge of diverse project management methodologies, frameworks, and procedures.
