Robert Half is recruiting a Controller for a respected client seeking a proven leader to oversee all aspects of accounting operations and financial reporting. This role plays a central part in safeguarding assets, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, and supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, AP / AR, and month-end close
• Develop and maintain accounting controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
• Prepare financial statements, regulatory filings, and management reports
• Lead payroll processing and coordinate with HR as needed
• Supervise accounting staff, providing mentorship and performance feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors, external partners, and lenders
• Manage payroll, tax filings, and other statutory requirements for real estate projects and entities
• Oversee financial aspects of property management
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support ongoing business strategies and investment opportunities
• Other duties as required
• Progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• CPA designation preferred
• Expertise in financial reporting, accounting controls, and payroll management
• Advanced proficiency in accounting and ERP software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
