What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an ambitious and high-energy Senior Project Manager to drive and coordinate our numerous modernization initiatives for financial systems, including General Ledger (GL) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. This is a unique opportunity for a creative and intelligent leader with a passion for cutting-edge technologies, a strong track record in project management, and a deep understanding of finance systems and modern technology transformation.

The ideal candidate will bring vision, creativity, and exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders, align teams, and deliver innovative solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, has a natural ability to inspire and lead, and is eager to leverage Generative AI (GenAI) to unlock new opportunities for our organization.

What will you do?

  • Manage Modernization Strategy: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a comprehensive modernization strategy for financial data systems, GL, and ERP platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Act as a central point of contact and align efforts across finance, technology, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Champion GenAI Integration: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge GenAI technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock) to enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making, and deliver transformative outcomes.

  • Manage Innovation: Encourage creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking across teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for modernization and AI-driven transformation.

  • Lead Communication Efforts: Craft clear, compelling, and modern communication strategies to engage stakeholders, present project plans, and share progress updates.

  • Maintain and manage strategic documentation, planning and requirement documentation, .execution, operation and feedback assets

  • Plan and manage releases.

  • Define and Track Metrics: Establish KPIs to measure the success of modernization efforts, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Identify Opportunities for Growth: Stay at the forefront of trends in GenAI, financial systems, and technology modernization to identify new opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

  • Manage Mitigate Risks and Manage Dependencies: Identify risks, manage dependencies, and maintain project momentum to deliver results on time and within scope.

  • Create Best Governance Practices: Develop playbooks, frameworks, and reusable assets for integrating GenAI and other technologies into financial and operational workflows.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • Experience in program management, project management, or transformation leadership roles, with a strong focus on technology modernization.

  • At least some hands-on experience working with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock, or similar tools.

  • Understanding of financial systems and architecture, modern data pipelines, and cloud-based technologies.

  • Proven ability to drive and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex, high-impact projects on time and within budget.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, align, and inspire diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLMs, or agent-based AI systems.

  • Experience with AI governance, tool evaluation, and vendor management.

  • Background in developer productivity, platform engineering, or digital transformation.

  • Prior experience in financial services, banking, brokerage, or fintech industries.

  • Familiarity with modern ERP systems and their integration with AI-driven tools.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
