Position Description :

CGI is supporting a high-visibility client engagement where we are looking to onboard a Sr Program Manager. This role sits on the business-facing data team (not IT) and is best described as a program leadership role focused on driving progress across complex, cross-departmental analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in analytics, BI, and data management, combined with the ability to navigate enterprise dynamics, align diverse stakeholders, and keep initiatives moving forward. This role requires someone who can calm the room, surface issues early, and drive accountability while maintaining positive working relationships across teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

  • . Act as a central coordination point across multiple teams and initiatives within the client organization
  • . Help resolve issues and conflicts that arise between teams, projects, or stakeholders
  • . Establish and facilitate “war rooms” to address critical, time-sensitive, or high-impact issues
  • . Define, track, and communicate key metrics and progress indicators to ensure transparency and alignment
  • . Identify and engage the right stakeholders at the right time to unblock decisions and move solutions forward
  • . Perform light data validation and analysis as needed to support decision-making and issue resolution
  • . Proactively ask the right questions to uncover blockers, risks, and opportunities
  • . Drive follow-through and hold teams accountable to agreed-upon actions and outcomes
  • . Maintain focus on what the team is doing, why it matters, and how to move forward pragmatically

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • . Strong experience in analytics, business intelligence, and / or data management domains
  • . Demonstrated success in program or initiative leadership across cross-functional teams
  • . Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed enterprise environments
  • . Strong facilitation skills, including leading discussions with senior stakeholders
  • . Comfortable balancing structure and flexibility in ambiguous situations
  • . Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Key Success Traits

  • . Calm, composed presence under pressure
  • . Able to manage strong personalities with a “firm but collaborative” approach
  • . Highly organized, detail-aware, and outcome-focused
  • . Natural connector who builds trust across business and technical teams.
