The E-Volunteer’s Role
Support the journey to becoming a caring organization! Cuso International is looking for a remote volunteer to assist our partner, the WWB Colombia Foundation, in enhancing its capacity to manage and support employee care initiatives from a distance. This role is essential in guiding the organization to meet international care standards and progress towards its ambition of being recognized as a “Caring Organization.”
This opportunity is perfect for professionals who are passionate about workplace well-being, gender equality, care economics, and organizational development, and who wish to make a significant impact in a global setting.
As an e-volunteer, you will support the organization through the following activities:
- Benchmarking & Research - Conduct comparative research on care policies and best practices in similar organizations.
- Care Burden Analysis - Design and apply diagnostic tools to assess care responsibilities and unmet needs among staff.
- Caring Organization Certification Preparation - Review international “Caring Company” standards and assess gaps between current practices and required criteria.
- Awareness & Strategy Development - Contribute to strategies that highlight the impact of care responsibilities on workplace performance, wellbeing, and gender equality.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Postgraduate studies in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Gender Studies, Economics of Care, or similar disciplines are an asset
Essential Background:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills, including experience using data analysis tools
