SEASONAL BEHAVIOUR THERAPY ASSISTANT
The Seasonal Behaviour Therapy Assistant works to enrich the quality of life for people who use our services. They work alongside the Central District Behaviour Therapist (BT) and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support people who use our services by providing consultation, assisting with the development and implementation of behavioural programming, providing staff trainings, monitoring and revising behaviour programs, documenting and collecting data collection.
The Seasonal Behaviour Therapy Assistant will respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees, people using services, and both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs Program for this position :
- The candidate will work 30 hours a week for approximately 8 weeks;
- Be between the ages of 18-30 at the start of employment;
- Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
