Your new role
This is a full-time Technical Process Specialist in a mining role located in Alberta with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Technical Process Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting process issues, quality control, process engineering, and conducting preventive maintenance with a strong focus on grinding and flotation. Additional responsibilities include providing training to team members to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- Skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
- Excellent skills and knowledge in Metallurgy
- Expertise in Quality Control and Process Engineering
- Experience in providing training to teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering or related field
- Experience in mining applications is an asset.
- Availability to travel within Canada 50% of the time.
