What you will be doing:
Lead the project through development, implementation, and operations start-up, ensuring delivery within agreed time, cost, and performance parameters
Define project objectives, budgetary requirements, team structure, roles, and terms of reference
Establish and maintain project governance, controls, and reporting
Manage schedules, work breakdown structures, critical path, and dependencies
Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues; manage change requests
Coordinate vendors and internal/external stakeholders
Support implementation and ensure a clean transition to operations
Produce clear reporting and drive the project through to formal sign-off
What you must have:
Valid PMP certification in good standing
Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager coordinating complex projects that include large data migrations
Minimum 2 years experience working with the Canadian government or equivalent public-sector environment
Minimum 3 years experience working with large, diverse stakeholder groups
Minimum 2 years experience implementing Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) software
Preferred Experience
Experience working with 911 dispatching centres and systems
Experience with medivac dispatching
Experience implementing telephony systems
Other Information:
Duration: 6 months (approximately 127 business days), with potential for a 12-month extension
Working hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday to Friday
Candidate must provide their own computer and equipment (modern Windows preferred)
Rate is all-inclusive (no separate expenses)
Salary/Pay Rate: $105.00 /hour
Term: 6-month contract (with possible 12-month extension)
