Job description



What you will be doing:

  • Lead the project through development, implementation, and operations start-up, ensuring delivery within agreed time, cost, and performance parameters

  • Define project objectives, budgetary requirements, team structure, roles, and terms of reference

  • Establish and maintain project governance, controls, and reporting

  • Manage schedules, work breakdown structures, critical path, and dependencies

  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues; manage change requests

  • Coordinate vendors and internal/external stakeholders

  • Support implementation and ensure a clean transition to operations

  • Produce clear reporting and drive the project through to formal sign-off


What you must have:

  • Valid PMP certification in good standing

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager coordinating complex projects that include large data migrations

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with the Canadian government or equivalent public-sector environment

  • Minimum 3 years experience working with large, diverse stakeholder groups

  • Minimum 2 years experience implementing Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) software

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with 911 dispatching centres and systems

  • Experience with medivac dispatching

  • Experience implementing telephony systems


Other Information:

  • Duration: 6 months (approximately 127 business days), with potential for a 12-month extension

  • Working hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday to Friday

  • Candidate must provide their own computer and equipment (modern Windows preferred)

  • Rate is all-inclusive (no separate expenses)

Salary/Pay Rate: $105.00 /hour


Term: 6-month contract (with possible 12-month extension)
