Job Title: UI Developer
Location: North York, ON

Job Description:
- Participate in the definition and the development of our platform.
- Work with internal stakeholders to create and scope the requirements of the platform
- Produce HTML / CSS / JavaScript code from design documentation for integration into desktop and mobile websites and web applications
- Understand cross browser and cross platform concepts and concerns
- Ensure code and design quality through the execution of test plans
- Develop coding standards, methodology and repeatable processes
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of UX and visual design concepts to provide leadership perspective on front and backend technologies and their overall impact on the creative process
- Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts!
- Provide technical leadership at a project level
- Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, cost effective, extensive and maintainable code frameworks that support large scale throughput
- Follow best engineering practices such as architectural design, unit and regression testing, test driven development, and continuous integration frameworks
- Obsession with consistency of interaction and performance.
- Deep interest in latest UX/ UI trends and practices
- Ability to work with a distributed team both in the same location and scattered remotely across the world.
- Strong results driven personality with a high level of enthusiasm, energy and confidence.
- Strong problem solving skills.
