Job description

Job Summary

At Allteck, our values aren’t just words on a wall — they shape how we work every day. Safety comes first, always; we believe good safety is good business, and our mission is to make sure everyone goes home. We genuinely care about our people and the communities where we live and work, because we know that great work is built on looking out for one another. And when we make a commitment, we keep it — we take ownership, follow through, and earn trust through consistent actions. If that sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of, we’d like to hear from you.

We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our Operations team. This is a process-driven, high-volume administrative role. Day-to-day, you will execute the same core tasks repeatedly and with precision – preparing, submitting, tracking, and documenting change orders – to keep the program running efficiently and in alignment with contractual requirements.

Pay rate: $30.00 per hour

Location: Surrey, BC

Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain contract and project folders, ensuring accurate document control and version management
  • Track, analyze and report project progress to appropriate managers and/or customers
  • Provide general day-to-day administration and support to the Operations team
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on current and future projects, reporting, allocations, and other departmental requirements
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, appointments, and meeting logistics including agendas and minutes
  • Maintain corporate credit cards, personal expenses, receipts, vacation requests, and other required documentation
  • Administer daily timesheets including coding, obtaining approvals, and submitting to payroll
  • Set up, review, code, and track all purchase orders and non-PO transactions
  • Prepare and submit various job billings in a timely and accurate manner
  • Create, update, and maintain project schedules
  • Perform other duties as required, requested, or assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • Professional and collaborative when working with internal teams and external partners
  • Comfort with repetitive, process-driven work done at high volume
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring tasks efficiently over sustained periods
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/project tracking systems is an asset
  • Willingness to learn industry-specific processes, including power line construction and utility operations (training provided)

Education, Training & Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of office or administrative experience, ideally in data entry, change order management, or process-driven roles
  • Experience in the utilities or construction industry is considered an asset
