Job description

The Stockroom Supervisor has overall responsibility to supervise and support systems related to work in the Stockroom Department. This includes ordering and processing new or used garment inventories, ensuring that proper documentation and processes are being followed in the department. Performs other duties as required and reports to the Operations Manager..

Essential Functions:
-Monitor and justify garment orders, stock levels, withdrawals and invoicing, physical inventories of stock. Verify stockroom records, reports or orders, improve labor utilization, production efficiency and expenses. Proficient computer skills in Excel and Word.
-Leads, trains, and supervises the Stockroom staff.
-Consults with sales and service management to ensure a consistent, high quality product is readily available.
-Responsible for execution of company production policies and procedures. -Responsible monitoring and ensuring that standards for production, quality, housekeeping and safety are met.
-Responsible for adherence to stock budgets as well as discipline and employee relations.
-Follow written and verbal instructions, attend meetings and perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Additional Functions:
-Work with and support other branch personnel as required by supervisor.

Qualifications:
-Have a minimum of two years of experience in a production environment with strong supervisory skills. Included in that experience should be some inventory control, receiving, storage, replenishment, and disposition.
-Good organizational skills and excellent troubleshooting skills and problem solving.
-Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as good time management skills and being a team player.
-Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately.

Education: High School graduation or similar experience.
Travel Requirements: Occasionally, to visit customers or possibly to attend training meetings.

Typical Environmental Conditions: Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust.
Physical Requirements: Physical Demands/Requirements during shift – standing, sitting, walking, stooping, grasping, lifting, pushing, pulling, moving loaded carts weighting several hundred pounds.

– Responsable de l’exécution des politiques et procédures de production de l’entreprise. – Responsable de la mise en place des normes et de s’assurer que les normes de production, de qualité, d’entretien ménager et de sécurité sont respectées.
– Responsable de la création et du respect des budgets des stocks, de l’embauche, de la discipline et des relations avec les employés.
– Suit les instructions écrites et verbales, assiste aux réunions et effectue d’autres tâches selon les directives du superviseur.

Fonctions additionnelles :
– Travaille avec ou supporte d’autres membres du personnel de la succursale selon les exigences du superviseur.

Compétences :
– Possède au moins deux ans d’expérience en gestion d’entreprise dans un environnement de production et de solides compétences en supervision et en gestion. Cette expérience devrait comprendre un certain contrôle des stocks, la réception, l’entreposage, le réapprovisionnement et la disposition.
– Bonnes aptitudes organisationnelles et excellentes aptitudes pour le dépannage et la résolution de problèmes.
– Capacité à diriger, motiver et perfectionner le personnel.
– Bonnes aptitudes pour la communication orale et écrite en anglais, capacité à comprendre et à suivre les directives, ainsi que de bonnes aptitudes pour la gestion du temps et esprit d’équipe.
– Reconnaît les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits et compte, additionne et soustrait avec précision.

Éducation : Diplôme d’études secondaires ou expérience similaire.
Exigences relatives aux déplacements : À l’occasion, pour visiter des clients ou assister à des réunions de formation.

Conditions environnementales typiques : Les zones de production d’une installation de buanderie industrielle typique qui comprend des variations de température, d’odeurs, d’humidité, de charpie et de poussière.

Exigences Physiques : Exigences physiques pendant le quart de travail — se tenir debout, s’asseoir, marcher, se pencher, saisir, soulever, pousser, tirer, déplacer des chariots chargés pesant plusieurs centaines de livres.
