Job descriptionHi everyone, We are urgently looking for a live-out, part-time, and ideally long-term nanny to take care of our 14 month-old boy. We are located in Pitt Meadows and you must have a car to get to us as public transit does not reach us. Here is exactly what we need: -9 hours weekly, split up in 3 days (for example: 3 hours Monday, 3 hours Weds, and 3 hours Friday - we are flexible on which days but they must be week days). Hours would roughly be 8am to 11am for now. -a total of around 27 hours monthly -expected responsibilities: one snack, lunch prep, stroller walks or time spent playing outside, indoor play, reading. changing diapers and outfits. Things to know about us: we are a young, working couple living on a multi-generational property so grandma/grandpa, auntie and uncle are also living on the same 2.6 acre of land. We have a big, loving dog named Junior. We have wildlife on the property and bodies of water, so an awareness of safety is important. Mom and dad are both working/doing school from home but won't be in the space - if ever you need help with anything, we are always available and nearby! About our little boy: he is sensitive, curious, goofy and loving. He has just started walking at 14 months but still loves to be in your arms. He likes to stay close to his caregivers and is fascinated by the little details, how things work, textures, colors, etc. He is very happy playing in his kiddie pool, playing with his name puzzles and dancing to his musical toys, or going for walks/adventures outside. He is very attached to mama, so sometimes seeing her leave the space is difficult for him, but once she is gone, he is happy and connected to whomever is taking care of him. As this is our first child, we are learning as we go. His sleep needs are ever-evolving which impact how long we need our ideal nanny for on a weekly basis.
