We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as a PLC Programmer . In this role, you will be responsible for validating ladder logic in-house and developing control standards that ensure consistency, efficiency, and reliability across the organization. Your technical expertise and strategic contributions will play a key role in driving automation excellence.
Location : Toronto, Ontario
Salary Range : $100,000-$115,000 plus bonus Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :
Designing, programming, and validating ladder logic for automated systems using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
Conducting in-house testing and validation of PLC programs to ensure optimal functionality.
Developing and maintaining control standards, guidelines, and best practices for the company.
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues during development and testing phases.
Documenting programming processes, control standards, and system configurations.
Providing technical support and training to team members on PLC programming and control standards. Mandatory Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Extensive experience with PLC programming and ladder logic validation.
Proficiency with automation platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, or similar.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, and actuators.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Requirements :
Experience with HMI / SCADA development and integration.
Knowledge of advanced control strategies, such as PID tuning and motion control.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, such as Ethernet / IP, Modbus, or Profinet.
Ability to create detailed technical documentation and training materials.
