We are actively seeking a Production Manager for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Scarborough, Ontario. You will be instrumental in overseeing manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring team performance in a fast-paced packaging environment. Responsibilities

  • Directly manage, develop, and coach all team members to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Implement and maintain standardized operational procedures to guarantee optimal production output, quality control, and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure all production activities strictly adhere to occupational health and safety protocols, promoting a risk-free working environment.
  • Spearhead the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies and tools across your entire manufacturing unit.
  • Actively contribute to the strategic planning and execution of optimization and capital investment projects for the business unit.
  • Maintain healthy and effective working relationships through consistent communication channels, including daily floor rounds and logbook maintenance.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of extensive supervisory or management experience, specifically within the demanding manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership qualities and a collaborative spirit that successfully motivates and engages operational teams.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage complex, ambiguous situations and carry out multiple simultaneous projects while strictly adhering to deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the tact and diplomacy required to support a customer-focused, people-centered culture.
  • Possess the sound judgment necessary to make appropriate, prioritized decisions and ensure the effective implementation of long-term solutions.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP or Power BI is considered a valuable asset for this Production Manager position in Scarborough.
